Peters Attends Indonesian Presidential Inauguration

Foreign Minister's visit marks strengthening NZ-Indonesia ties.

New Zealand's Foreign Minister Winston Peters has concluded his visit to Indonesia, attending the inauguration of President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta. The event marked a significant milestone in New Zealand and Indonesia's bilateral relationship, which is crucial for regional security, trade, and global issues.

At the inauguration, Mr Peters met with President Prabowo for the second time this year, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations. He expressed his enthusiasm for continuing to work together on strengthening their enduring bilateral relationship. During his visit, the Foreign Minister also had informal engagements with other leaders in Jakarta. With the inauguration now complete, Mr Peters has returned to New Zealand today.
